Inresponsetotheoutbreakofpneumoniacausedbythenovelcoronavirus(2019-nCoV),GuangdongProvincehasactivatedaLevelIpublichealthemergencyresponsesince23rdJanuarytocontrolandstopthespreadingoftheepidemic.TheCPCChaozhouCommitteeandtheChaozhouMunicipalGovernmenthavemobilizedresourcesandareengaginginpreventionandcontrolefforts.Yourhealthandconfidenceareimportanttous,sowearereachingouttoyou.WerecommendthefollowingpracticestoallofChaozhou"sinternationalresidents:
1.Donottrustfalseandunverifiedinformation.Useofficialupdatesinstead.Follow“czwsjkj”(theofficialWeChataccountrunbyChaozhouMunicipalHealthBureau)andotherofficialWeChataccountsforthemostrecentupdates.CheckoutthelistofdesignatedhospitalinChaozhou,andlookforpreventionandtreatmentguides.Ifyouhaveanyquestions,pleasecalltheservicehotlineforinquiry:12345.Donotbelieveorspreadrumors.
2.Increasepreventionandself-protection.Keepgoodhygienebywashingyourhandsoftenwithsoaporalcohol-basedsanitizer.Coveracoughorsneezewithatissueoryourflexedelbow.Nospitting.Nolittering.Disposeofusedmasksappropriately.Maintainproperventilation.Keeproomscleananddisinfectregularly.Avoidclosecontactwithwildanimalsorbirds.Eggsandmeatmustbethoroughlycookedbeforeconsumption.Thegeneralguidelinesforavoidingcoldvirusesapplytocoronavirus:getenoughsleep,drinkplentyofwater,andexerciseregularlytomaintainyourhealth.
3.Minimizeoutdooractivities.Avoidcrowdedplaces,partiesandgroupactivities.Correctlywearamask(preferably,asurgicalmask)ifyouhavetogoandattendone.Wearasurgicalmaskwhengoingoutandchangeiteveryfourhours.Staffmembersfromshoppingmalls,marketplaces,hotelsandbusesshouldwearmasks.Ifyouhavemildtosevererespiratorysymptomsoffever,cough,breathingdifficulty,orfatigue,pleasegotohospitalwithamaskon.
4.Joininourmasspreventionandcontrolefforts.IfyouhavebeentotheinfectedareasandreturnedtoChaozhouwithin14days,orifyoucontactedpeoplewhoarefromtheepidemicarea,youneedtoreportthesituationtoyourcommunitycommittee.pleasemonitoryourhealthconditioncloselyandstayathome.Pleasecooperatewithgovernmentorcommunitypersonnelormedicalstaffiftheyinquireaboutyourcondition.

为应对新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎疫情，广东省于1月23日启动了重大突发公共卫生事件一级响应，坚决遏制疫情传播扩散蔓延势头。潮州市委、市政府高度重视，抓早抓紧，靠前防范，各项疫情防控工作正在有序展开。您的健康和信心对我们来说至关重要。在此，我们向在潮的各位外籍人士提出如下倡议：
一、关注官方信息。请关注潮州市卫生健康局微信公众号“潮州卫生健康局”（微信号：czwsjkj）等官方媒体，获取新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎疫情官方通报、潮州市救治定点医院名单和防治指引措施等信息，或致电热线电话12345进行咨询。不信谣，不传谣。
二、加强自我防护。保持良好的卫生习惯，勤洗手，多饮水。咳嗽、打喷嚏时务必使用纸巾或肘部捂住口鼻，不随地吐痰，不乱扔乱倒垃圾，废弃口罩按规定规范投放。适当开窗通风，家居用品每天清洁并定期消毒，注意保持室内环境卫生。避免接触任何野生动物或禽类动物，肉类和蛋类请彻底煮熟后食用。
三、尽量减少外出。尽量避免前往人员密集的场所，尽量减少聚会聚餐等集体活动。若必须前往，请正确佩戴口罩，首选医用外科口罩。若出现发热、咳嗽、胸闷、乏力等症状，须佩戴口罩到潮州市正规医院的发热门诊就诊。
四、参与联防联控。如果您抵潮前14天内到访过疫情高发的湖北等地区，或最近14天内曾接触过疫情高发地区的来潮人员，应当及时向所在地村(居)委会报告，并密切关注自身的身体状况，居家休息，减少外出。如果有政府、社区工作人员、医务人员询问您的情况，请您积极配合他们的工作。
